The Days of Our Lives

It has been two weeks, you'd think I'd have something good to say. But I dont. We've just been busy doing the normal things of life. School, work, laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, you know the drill. It has been raining for what seems like the better part of the last month. THis weekend has actually been dry with some sun, but Jeff and I are battling to see who can get the worst virus and he has to work. Jeff seems on the upswing now that his fever, aches, and chills are gone. I'm still hanging onto some coughing and aches. The next victim seems like it will be Alison as she has a runny nose now. Hopefully that will be the worst of it for her.

We had a fun Valentine's day. We had the Biery's over to make heart shaped pizza and milk shakes. (Thanks for that tradition Dave and Sarah) The kids seemed to have fun and the adults enjoyed catching up.

I have been able to go to Owen's school and read the last couple of weeks. I love his school. I love his teacher. I love his classroom. It was hard in those first 2 weeks but God has proven it was the right choice.

We were also able to help some friends welcome their new daughter in to the world. Well not with the actual birth but we kept their other daughter over night and the grandparents one day. She wanted to have a home birth so everyone needed a place to be. Things worked out great for her and they now have Ellerie Anne as part of their family.

I can't really think of anything else we've been up to. I guess we are more boring than we think we are. I better run and get us ready for church. Have a great Sunday.
